Here’s what’s coming – and why you should be excited.
· Own a team? Rent it out to another player for a fee in $FOOT. You keep the fee – that’s your passive income.
· The renter now controls your team. They can enter PvP matches and tournaments.
· When the renter wins prize money: It’s split 50/50 between the renter and the team’s players (the avatars signed to that team). The team owner already got paid – no extra split.

Web3 Self‑Custody Version
1. Self‑Custodial Wallet & Seedphrase Responsibility
METAFOOT does not create or store user accounts. Access to your $FOOT and player progress is controlled exclusively by a 12‑word seedphrase generated locally in your browser. METAFOOT cannot recover, reset, or view your seedphrase. If you lose your seedphrase, your $FOOT and player data are permanently inaccessible. You are solely responsible for backing up and securing your seedphrase. Never share it with anyone, including anyone claiming to represent METAFOOT.
2. $FOOT Utility Token – Not an Investment
$FOOT is a utility token designed for use within the METAFOOT ecosystem—training players, entering tournaments, staking, renting teams, and spending via the $FOOT Virtual Card. $FOOT is not a security, investment contract, or speculative instrument. METAFOOT makes no promises regarding the future market value of $FOOT. The token's value is derived solely from ecosystem utility and demand. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice.
3. Mining Phase – Local Data Storage & Snapshot
During the mining phase, all $FOOT balances and player attributes are stored locally in your browser under an account ID derived from your seedphrase. METAFOOT does not have access to this data. At the conclusion of the mining phase, a snapshot of eligible accounts will be taken for the purpose of distributing $FOOT tokens on the Solana blockchain. It is your responsibility to follow the official claim process using your seedphrase or exported backup file. METAFOOT is not responsible for missed claims due to user inaction.
4. Blockchain & Smart Contract Risk
$FOOT will be deployed as an SPL token on the Solana blockchain. Blockchain technology involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: smart contract bugs, network congestion, validator centralization, and potential regulatory changes. METAFOOT does not control the Solana network and cannot reverse transactions once confirmed.
5. No Custody of Funds
METAFOOT does not hold or control user funds during the mining phase. All value is represented by data stored locally in your browser. In the future Unity game, METAFOOT may operate a custodial in‑game wallet for gameplay convenience. Players may withdraw their $FOOT to a self‑custodial Solana wallet at any time, subject to standard blockchain transaction fees and withdrawal limits designed to prevent fraud.
6. Regulatory Compliance
The METAFOOT ecosystem is in active development. We are committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate. However, the legal status of blockchain‑based games and tokens varies globally. It is your responsibility to ensure your participation complies with your local laws. Residents of sanctioned jurisdictions or those prohibited from using cryptocurrency may not participate.
7. No Guarantee of Value
The value of $FOOT may fluctuate significantly and could become zero. METAFOOT makes no promises regarding future token price, market demand, or liquidity. You should only participate with time and resources you can afford to allocate.
8. Intellectual Property
All METAFOOT branding, logos, game concepts, original content, and design assets are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
9. Privacy & Data Collection
METAFOOT collects minimal data required for functionality. During the mining phase, no personal data is collected by default. The optional pre‑sale waitlist collects only the email address you voluntarily provide. We never sell your personal information. Any data stored locally in your browser remains under your control.
10. Age Restriction
You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction to participate. METAFOOT is not directed at children.
11. No Gambling
METAFOOT is a skill‑based football management game with economic elements. It is not a gambling platform. Tournament entry fees are used for prize pools and ecosystem funding, not for house profit.
12. Amendments
These legal notices may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the ecosystem or regulatory environment. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications. Major changes will be announced via official METAFOOT channels.
